 We upgraded the control and automation system of a 200-ton crane by integrating advanced sensors and controllers to enhance precision and reliability. This overhaul includes sophisticated software for real-time monitoring and diagnostics, ensuring optimal performance and safety. We improved communication protocols for seamless interaction between the crane and its operators, reducing human error. Extensive testing has confirmed the system's integrity and responsiveness under various conditions. This upgrade boosts efficiency and extends the crane's lifespan, enhancing overall productivity. The project used Siemens PLC From S7-1500 series, HMI, and DC Drives and was executed in collaboration with Al-Ammar Marine Services Company and Shield Company.
